Can you share details about any new product launches your brand will be showcasing at Life Instyle Sydney 2024? What makes these products unique or innovative?

We will be showing our entire new SS24 Oasis Collection that will drop September 2024. We’re so excited for this one, with amazing new prints over the entire collection.

We’ve also expanded our ceramics and glassware range, have a huge amount of new sleepwear and swimwear (including boardies for men!), AND our latest product innovation into lighting which we can’t wait to show everyone.

Could you provide insights into the inspiration behind the development of your latest products? How do they align with your brand's overall vision and values?

Kip&Co is proudly indie and Australia, with a truly unique sense of soul that can’t be replicated. We are nimble, adventurous and innovate, always pushing creative boundaries in prints, colours, fabrics and textures.

Tell us more about your brand's background and founders. What motivated them to start the brand, and how has the journey been so far?

Kip&Co was founded by sisters Kate and Hayley and best buddy Alex in Melbourne in 2012 after the girls noticed a gap in the market for bright, colourful bedding. The response to their unique, confident and eclectic sense of style was resounding and Kip&Co was born!

How has your brand evolved since its inception, and what milestones have you achieved along the way?

The brand quickly expanded into a vibrant lifestyle concept with homewares and apparel for every corner of the home and every member of the family. With hundreds of global stockists and an online community pushing half a million, the brand is an established Aussie favourite.

Are there any upcoming plans or projects in the pipeline for your brand? Can you share insights into what the audience can expect from your brand in the coming years?

Always so much good stuff! More iconic collaborations of course, new product development, a bigger and better Christmas offering and a wonderful growing team. Bring on 2024!

Can you highlight any specific challenges your brand has faced in the industry and how you've overcome them?

Covid was a difficult time for everyone globally. It was tough on our staff, suddenly having to work from home during a period of uncertainty, it was difficult for our suppliers many of home were directly impacted by health concerns, and it was also difficult to manage and predict order volumes. On the other side, we are certainly a more robust and resilient business.

What strategies do you employ to stay ahead of industry trends and maintain a competitive edge in the market?

We try not to follow trends, we get our inspiration from our travels, our families and our beautiful creative communities. It’s important to carve out your own unique style and individual brand proposition.

Looking into the future, what are your brand's long-term goals and aspirations?

We hope to be Australia’s number one indie lifestyle brand and a leader in our industry on sustainability. We’re making big strides every year.
